I first began cake decorating in my early 20’s when a friend asked me to go to someone’s home for a cake decorating class. I had baked a chicken-in-an-egg shaped cake and I decorated it with the star tip. That was the evening I caught the cake-decorating bug.
From there, every chance I got, I practiced and practiced. After making cakes for family and friends, people began to call me for orders and I loved every minute of it. I filled my house with cake decorating tools and books and everything pertaining to the creation of cakes. My college art classes came in handy and I branched out into more creative ideas, loving the variety of it all. When the internet came along, it opened a whole new way to view cakes, sell cakes, and show my cakes.
Thirty-five years of dedicated experience in a number of bakeries in Canada and the U.S. and in taking classes; my goal is still to give people a great product for a reasonable cost and enjoy myself along the way. I hope I can meet your expectations of taste, wow design, and friendly service.
